In the New Testament we read, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." In probably no more effective way can the truth of the restored Gospel be witnessed before others than for every member to live a life filled with the influence of the Holy Spirit of the Lord. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Westwood Ward and most importantly, members of the human family--we should all strive to live lives of virtue and integrity that will command the strength of the world, and the admiration of it. Let us all live peaceably with all humans—not overcoming evil by evil, or being overcome by evil, but overcoming evil with good. In this way, we may stand as a light to the world.
